With election field set, Monetti on the move

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Lt. Col. Tony Monetti, the U.S. Senate candidate whose name appears first among all candidates on the Aug. 7 primary ballot, marked the close of election filing at 5 p.m. Tuesday by continuing to meet with Missourians.

Monetti spoke with supporters and a reporter earlier in the day, and then attended a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Billy Long, and spoke to Young Republicans at Missouri State University.

Instead of going to $50,000-a-plate chicken dinners, Monetti got on the road a year ago to meet with fellow Missourians. He has amassed a solid network of anti-establishment campaign supporters focused on making America greater.

“I am proud to support my party,” Monetti said. “I look forward to representing not only Republicans but all Missourians in the U.S. Senate.”

He continued on the road Wednesday in the Kansas City area.
